Liftgate and Parts Painter

Tommy Gate is currently taking applications for a Liftgate and Parts Painter at our Woodbine, IA factory. 

Essential duties include:

• Prepare and spray paint liftgates, brackets and parts
• Regulate paint sprayer valve and nozzle to a desirable width and pressure as to cover, but not waste paint. 
• Clean all spray equipment and booths used
• Other jobs as assigned
• Above all, applicants should exhibit a strong work ethic and a desire to contribute to an ambitious team

Assembler

Tommy Gate is currently taking applications for Assemblers at our Woodbine, IA factory.

SUMMARY:

Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line in a manufacturing organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
• Utilize handheld tools such as a handheld screw and drill gun
• Performing soldering, which is the process in which two or more metal items are joined together by melting and flowing a filler metal (solder) into the joint
• Maintain inventory of product in work stations
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
• Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
