Tommy Gate is pleased to announce the availability of G2-Series models for the 2015 Ford F-150.

The new Ford application presented some unique challenges and the Tommy Gate engineering team responded by building their "cleanest and most functional" bracket design to date. The new mounting brackets are also the first of their kind to include a corrosion-resistant barrier between the steel bracket and the new aluminum truck bodies. G2-SERIES PICKUP LIFTGATES for the 2015 Ford F-150 are available with 1300lb. lifting capacity and numerous platform depths and materials, including Treadplate Steel and Extruded Aluminum.

In addition to the announcement of the new application, Tommy Gate is also acknowledging a number of G2-Series upgrades and improvements that have been implemented in recent months.

Some of these recent G2-Series updates include: 

• reduced liftgate weight via a leaner, more efficient design
• bolt-on light kits (LED or incandescent) enable greater versatility with ordering options and improve shipping times
• new component materials utilize state-of-the-art composites to increase performance, durability, and longevity
• "hot dip" galvanizing option provides exceptional corrosion protection

And while the G2-Series is the most popular pickup lift on the market, G2 models are not only designed for pickups. More and more van and stake body users have begun noticing the benefits of G2 models for applications where other, bulkier, liftgates are not completely necessary.
