These new railgate models are the first of their kind to combine the sturdy motion of heavy duty, High-Cycle Railgates with the ease-of-operation associated with Standard Railgate models. By incorporating both a steel roller drive system and aluminum platform assist features, Tommy Gate has been able to produce a truly unique, efficient, and modern hydraulic lift.

Defining features of the RTC focus on the most common step van liftgate usage, picking up and delivering wheeled cargo via a loading dock. Some of these essential features include a 12-inch platform taper, split cart stops, above-bed travel, and safety trip bar.

RTC models are not only corrosion resistant, low maintenance, and operator safe, they are also extremely clean, dependable, and long lasting.

In conjunction with the release of the new RTC Railgate, Tommy Gate has published two new reference videos. One video details the proper usage of the foot-activated Split Cart Stops available for aluminum platforms on Tommy Gate Railgate and Cantilever Series lifts. The other is a video demonstration of Tommy Gate's one-of-a-kind Safety Trip Bar, which is a standard feature on all Tommy Gate Railgate models.
