The New Internal Van Lift
The latest in liftgate technology, the V2 Series by Tommy Gate provides the maximum platform loading area while occupying the smallest possible space when stored in the rear of the van. The V2 combines sleek modern engineering with hands-free platform open and close, built-in cart retention ramp, and 1100lbs. of lifting capacity.

Dual-Function Control
Pendant control with raise/lower toggle and secondary platform fold function.
Flat-Loading Taper & Retention Ramp
Platform rests flat at ground level, minimizing load angle. Retention ramp easily locks into place to secure wheel-based cargo.

- FA49 Models must have the 9” retention ramp/taper engaged when storing the platform on lower roof van models to avoid the ramp contacting the van frame. See Application Chart below.
- V2-47 liftgate model is only available for Chevy Express/GMC Savana.
IMPORTANT:
- V2 Series liftgates are not compatible with floor-mounted rear heat or rear air conditioning.
- V2 Series liftgates reduce the door opening height by 2” (from the metal floor).

[*] IMPORTANT
Mounting kits for V2 liftgates are intended for the specified vehicle model only. Use of a mounting kit in a vehicle or manner other than intended is NOT recommended by Tommy Gate. Using an incorrect mounting kit will likely result in damage to the van's bumper, door, and floor area, as well as to the lifting and folding mechanism of the liftgate.
- V2-47 liftgate model is only available for Chevy Express/GMC Savana.
- Retention ramp must be engaged before storing liftgate for F A42 and F A49 platforms on standard roof.
- V2 Series liftgates are not compatible with floor-mounted rear heat or rear air conditioning.
- V2 Series liftgates reduce the door opening height by 2" (from the metal floor).
- 2019-2024 Sprinter, 170" WB must have one of these factory-installed options:
V43 (wood floor), V39 (plastic floor), and ZE6 (shelving prep). - This application requires a 37-foot power cable, option E3.
- Mercedes-Benz requires the use of an auxiliary battery for all liftgates installed on Sprinter vans.
- Some Ford Transit installations may require a separate customer connection point kit to be ordered from Ford. See install instructions for details.
- Not compatible with roll-up door option at this time.
- Includes AWD Transit and Transit Trail™.

Aluminum treadplate bridge mounts provide smooth transition for moving cargo to and from lift platform to vehicle bed.

Pendant control with raise/lower toggle and secondary platform fold function.
Remote Pendant Control Mounting Kit
bracket and hook to store pendant control inside the vehicle (pendant sold separately)
Low-Profile Pump & Motor Box
Pump and motor housing fits compactly over the wheel well.
